Creating a Gala Like No Other! |

Ronald McDonald House 25th Anniversary |

Challenge: |
Ronald McDonald House, a charitable organization that provides
nearby housing for families of hospitalized children, wanted to
celebrate their 25th anniversary while accomplishing three goals:
improve awareness of their services, increase their donor base, and
raise a minimum of $100,000 for their endowment. They felt a
"typical" gala benefit in a tent or hotel ballroom would not allow
them the opportunity to achieve all of their goals. |

Solution: |
Wizard of Ah's designed a sight, sound, and feast like no other.
Guests arrived at a warehouse-like venue that had been completely
transformed into a surreal environment featuring ethereal music
and entertainers suspended from the ceiling.
Dinner featured unusual presentations of creatively designed food,
such as salad served under an upside-down martini glass with
garnishes molded as part of the martini glass base. Soup was
pumpkin and black bean - at the same time - in the same bowl -
without blending! Dessert was lingo berry creme brulee
simultaneously fired tableside by all of the kitchen chefs.
The stage show was Cirque Ingenieux, an amazing choreographed
presentation of visual entertainment and acrobatic feats. |

Results: |
The event received incredible awareness during pre- and post-media
promotion and was awarded "Top 10 Events" for 2004 by a major
publication; increased their new donor base by 32%; netted over
$115,000 for the endowment. |
